Blessed with the gifts of preaching, leadership and encouragement, Gary Ealy is skilled at motivating
people to persevere towards a common goal. Since becoming a stewardship consultant in 1992,
he has helped over 180 churches across the country successfully fund God’s Vision for their congregation.
He is skilled in on-site consultations, feasibility studies, annual campaigns and stewardship
assessments (Stewardship Discovery).
Gary understands maintaining unity is all important. With each consultation, he takes the time to fully
understand the church’s culture and history before making recommendations. Gary excels in guiding
congregations to find common ground. Emphasizing the biblical directive to “submit to one another,”
he leads those in favor of a capital goal—and even those opposed—to support one another in seeking
God’s will. The result is an atmosphere of spiritual inquiry, growth and renewal in which individuals freely
seek God’s heart without coercion, guilt or friction.
Gary has over 30 years experience in preaching ministry and 24 in stewardship ministry. He has
also been an active volunteer with Agape Child and Family Services, helping to raise over $1 million
in support of adoptions and foster care for abused and orphaned children. He has served at
Hope Works, a non-profit that trains the homeless and jobless in the skills needed to secure full-
time employment. Gary lives in Memphis with his wife Mary. He has a daughter and a son who
are both married and have blessed him with four beautiful granddaughters and one on the way.
His favorite word is "Papa."
